Be Better, needs to collect some personal data from clients, job candidates and trainees, for a legitimate business purpose. For example: name, address, phone number, e-mail address, among other.
Be Better, as Data Treatment Responsible, treats and protects personal data with respect and according with the rules and principles regulated in GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation – REG (EU) 2016/679, 27 April.
For what purpose is personal data collected?
Data collected in the website is exclusively used to answer the data subject requests and will not be used for any other purpose.
For how long is personal data kept?
Any data collected in the received CVs, whether they are an ad response or sent spontaneously, will be kept for five years. By then, data will be removed from our Data Base. The data subject must send a new CV in order to stay in our database after the five first years. To eliminate data before this time please ask: bebetter@bebetter.pt, with your ID (use your e-mail address and refer to the document you’ve sent before).
Data collected for other purposes will be kept as long as it is being used, for the maximum of twenty years.
Be Better uses personal data for direct mailing?
Be Better doesn’t use your personal data for sending mailings you haven’t given your consent. Be Better doesn’t sell nor deals Personal Data with third party.
Who may access your personal data?
Be Better doesn’t pass any personal data of clients nor users without consent, except for law issues.
Data Subject’s rights?
Data subjects have the following rights, which may apply at any moment: Data access, Rectification, Deletion, Treatment Limitation, Portability and to oppose to the treatment of your personal data. The Data subject as the right for a response, from Be Better, within 30 days.

Whether Be Better doesn’t accede your request or doesn’t respond, the Data subject may claim directly to the supervisor, NCDP – National Commission for Data Protection.
